MCC distribution cabinets are mainly used for controlling, protecting, and regulating various motor operations. MCC distribution cabinet is an industrial grade equipment, and Shouke® is a professional manufacturer.
The structure of MCC distribution cabinet mainly includes the following parts and characteristics.
Basic structure: The basic structure of the MCC distribution cabinet is composed of welded steel plates and angle steels, which are sturdy and durable. There is a door in front of the cabinet, and a dashboard above the cabinet, equipped with an openable small door for installing indicator instruments.
Partition design: In order to reduce the possibility of accidents caused by single cabinet failures, partitions are added between cabinets assembled in parallel.
Main busbar installation: The main busbar above the rear frame of the MCC distribution cabinet is installed on the sub insulated frame and equipped with a busbar protection cover to prevent malignant accidents caused by metal objects falling from above and causing short circuits of the main busbar.
Neutral busbar and grounding: The neutral busbar device is installed on the insulator below the cabinet, and the main grounding point of the protective grounding system is welded below the framework. The instrument door also has a grounding point interconnected with the shell, ensuring safety performance.
Model and Scope of Application: The existing models of MCC distribution cabinets include GCK, MNS, GCS, etc., which are suitable for supplying power to small and medium-sized capacity loads and generally use plastic shell switches. A MCC can have 5-20 circuits, and according to the power design regulations, loads below 75KW are powered by the MCC. Widely used in various fields of the national economy, especially in areas that require process control such as petrochemicals, metallurgy, papermaking, building materials, pharmaceuticals, and electricity.
Cubicle design: The compartments of the MCC distribution cabinet are divided into functional unit rooms (in front of the cabinet), busbar rooms (in the back of the cabinet), and cable rooms (on the right side in front of the cabinet). This design isolates various functional rooms from each other, and their compartments are independent of each other, enhancing safety and reliability.
Installation method: The MCC distribution cabinet can be reliably installed on the wall. At this time, the right side of the cabinet is widened by 200mm as the cable compartment, similar to the top busbar style of the MNS cabinet. The module of drawer height is 200mm, which is suitable for different electrical equipment and circuit configuration requirements.
The design of MCC distribution cabinets has safety, reliability, and flexibility to meet the needs of various industrial and commercial applications.
